Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great cozy restaurant with Japanese and Italian dishes! We tried edamame and tofu&sea weed salad, vegeterian curry udon, salmon rolls, pizza and fried chicken in panko. Everything was super delicious! Pizza was great, neapoli style! And just 230bat,totally worth it. We would totally recommend dining there if you are around Kata."
"Red Perch bar-restaurant. We stopped for lunch. Ordered from the menu. It was cooked quickly and tasty, and I liked everything. The staff is very pleasant and polite, they try to please the client. I Liked Everything."
"I’ve been to this restaurant twice while I was in town. The first time, I ordered Japanese food while my husband chose Italian. I’m not sure why they serve both Italian and Japanese dishes, but the Italian options were a disaster. On the other hand, the Japanese food was outstanding, very fresh and full of flavor. For our second visit, we decided to stick with the Japanese menu, and everything was excellent. The dessert was the highlight, leaving us with an even better final impression. Our favourites were salmon nigiri aburi and the chocolate melt in the middle cake. I definitely recommend this place, they offer reasonable prices, great Japanese food and desserts, and the service was excellent too."
"The food was delicious and sashimi was fresh - price was very reasonable (especially compared to western countries). We were a bit apprehensive trying the raw food selection but was definitely not warranted here! Total price was under $120 AUD for 3 people with a drink each (we had the octopus ceviche, salmon carpaccio, grilled tuna carpaccio, sashimi selection, 2 rolls and the teriyaki eel)."
"Here is relatively good Japanese restaurant! The price is reasonable although portions are not big. It tastes good! I think 80-90% of Japanese food in Japan! We ordered cold soba, pork cutlet, grilled pork and rice with miso soup. We pleasantly enjoyed our dinner! Staffs are good and decent. Atmosphere is also nice! Calm and peaceful."
"Been here a couple times now. Always great food and very nicely priced. Good place to eat, wait out the rain or get a break from the heat while filling up your sushi quota. The outside is open to a nice breeze when the wind is blowing and chimes add a nice ambience. Was recommended to me by a local and they were spot on on this place."
"The sushi was really tasty and fresh. The service in English was ok, but we didn’t enjoy the fact of having the waiters standing so close to our table all the time. A bit expensive for Thailand, we paid 960 for 34 pieces and an Iced tea."
"We have been there twice and both times had amazing food. My sons tend to eat a lot so we did end up having plate after plate on our table. I had sushi and the ramen noodles on separate times and was incredibly good. Portions are more for people with small to medium appetite so if you have a big appetite like the rest of my family, you’ll need to order more. Really lovely atmosphere and the lady running the place is very lovely. Would recommend!"
